Chrissy moved to Byron 19 yrs ago in search of a more intimate way of working and connecting with people. Her experience of Sydney and Melbourne offered vast learnings in hospitality yet what was starkly observed was a growing gap in the meaning of service, preferring the mass trends that often miss the mark where quality lives.

Whilst Chrissy Caplice may have started her journey in the concierge industry in 2002 working for Katie Page and Gerry Harvey’s iconic luxury resort – The Byron at Byron, the qualities that uphold what it is to serve were already well alive within Chrissy.

In her 11 yrs. tenure as Guest Relations Manager, she was responsible for dealing with all clientele, colleagues and Management. It was here that Chrissy honed her craft and truly embraced the value of ‘service’ and bringing that to people.

Perhaps one of Chrissy’s endeared qualities is being able to engage with everyone, she is a consummate communicator and equally an open listener. Chrissy understands that observation is key to respectfully respond and provide a premium experience that reflects the details of her client’s brief.

Chrissy is recognised for being highly organised and manages multi-tasking seamlessly with ease. She has a highly developed sense of empathy- acknowledging and reading what people want.
